Greetings from Sedona, Arizona!

Got the light just right on this one. Almost all of the frame is shadowed except the mountain. This is what happens at sunset in Sedona, Arizona.

I took this just when I got here. I couldn’t find a trail head, so I went into a residential neighborhood and climbed up a hill and shot from there.

I didn’t forget my trusty tripod, that’s why the photo is so sharp. I also used a polarizing lens filter, hence the enhanced contrast.

Political Note

There’s one thing for sure about this part of the Arizona desert–it’s overbuilt. If this were California the whole area wouldn’t have been developed. Your comments please.
