Stepping Over a Puddle

I adhere to the principle of pointing your camera in all directions, including down at the ground.

Nothing like catching a person in the middle of stepping over a puddle.

This was shot in New York City, a land of what will soon become a lot of puddles when the snow from this current storm begins to melt.

This was shot at ISO 800, f/4, 1/200 seconds.

When I’m out on the street, I usually have my camera set to Aperture Priority mode with the aperture at f/4, that’s open wide, so I can get the fastest shutter speed possible for a sharp shot.
