Ode to the Phone Booth

The last phone booth I presented on this blog was blue. This one is red.

It was found near Lake Merced in San Francisco. This one no longer has a phone in it.

Phone booths are becoming part of the unused urban jungle. They are ripe for abuse and neglect.

No one cares about them anymore. If I had the funds, I’d open a phone booth museum. There is no phone booth museum anywhere in the world; however, one phone booth has been made into a museum. How clever is that.

The next time you use your cell phone, think about all of the lonely phone booths around the world that are suffering.

Say a prayer for them.
